Your ads are terrible and you should feel bad. This must be some ploy by Spotify to get me to pay for premium just so I don't have to hear your shitty ads

They’re well aware! Most advertising is annoying/bad, they think that is more noticeable than a professional one, and frankly they may have a point...the ads you remember are either outstanding or atrocious! You never remember a generic professional ad :D That said the fact that they now interrupt your OWN music to play ads is incredibly cheeky but they know many like me will not use another player for local files even though it’d be the same, minus the ads

I’ve been paying for a few years now. I’m not going back.

The ads and the ability to keep music on my phone are why I went premium. Worth it for me.

Maybe that’s the goal. To be so bad that you pay for premium.

Not as horrible as Pandora, that drives me apeshit.
I’ll never pay for premium though. But you can mute the ads, so technically the advertiser didn’t make any money off of that particular ad. So you probably robbed them of a couple pennies or something by not listening.

It’s totally worth it.
